3 Simple Ways to Reboot Your Hair for Fall

With the change in seasons traditionally comes a change in hair color. Blondes go darker, brunettes add pumpkin or caramel highlights, and red heads get richer and more vibrant. Or if you’re like me, you ignore the trends and do whatever your heart desires, always. . Regardless, everyone gets bored and wants to change things up.

Here are 3 simple ways to spruce up your color without drastically changing your appearance. (Unless you want to.)

BALAYAGE

This technique is great because it delivers beautiful dimension that blends and grows out seamlessly making your color low maintenance. The amount of ‘pop’ can be customized to your taste. Ideally, when I add balayage dimension on brunette hair, I try to stay within 2 levels. By doing that, it delivers a more natural appearance and ensures clients can go longer between appointments

Toner or Gloss

This is one of my favorite looks and so EASY! Think about changing the tone of your blonde. If you’re always cool, add a little warmth or vice versa. Brunette? Same thing, add a gloss that changes the tone but not the level for a quick affordable way to spruce things up.

Smoothing Treatments

Whether it’s a Brazilian Renewal keratin, or Iplex anti-aging system, treatments are a great way to add shine and life to your hair, while strengthening and controlling unwanted frizz. Talk to your stylist about the many options and which is best for you.
